Pastor Nicole Kelly Vickey is a Disciples of Christ ordination candidate based in Lafayette, CO, serving as one of UCC Parker Hilltop’s co-Bridge Ministers in fall 2025. She brings five years of professional ministry experience, most recently as a chaplain with Community UCC in Boulder.

Nicole’s ministry is shaped by her love of scripture, her background in ecological justice, and her commitment to walking alongside congregations in seasons of transition. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and will complete her Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in November 2025.

Alongside her ministry here, Nicole writes at Still, Wild, God, offering reflections at the intersection of scripture, natural revelation, and poetic imagination. Members of UCC Parker Hilltop are welcome to follow her writings as a resource for prayer and reflection.

As part of her bridge minister role with us, Nicole takes turns with Pastor Denis Dunlap in leading Sunday worship and preaching. Nicole also shares pastoral care with Pastor Denis Dunlap, serving primarily in ongoing pastoral support, such as home visits, Sunday check-ins, and conversations by appointment.
